Independence Day was 15 september 1821 in El Salvador and the rest of CentroAmerica. the national bird of El Salvador and Nicaragua is the Torogoz or turquoise-browed motmot.

The flower of the doodle is El Salvador´s national flower - Flor de Izote or yuca elephantipes also known as itabo in Costa Rica.
